Introduction
Every fitness brand has an origin story. Ours began in a modest workshop in Qingdao, China, with a simple focus: manufacturing precision parts for some of the most demanding strength training companies in the industry.
2015
The Workshop Years
IRONPOWER started as a workshop in 2015, manufacturing partial parts of strength training machines for IMPULSE and Imbell Fitness — two names that set a high bar for quality in the commercial fitness space. Working with these partners taught us something that still defines how we operate today: commercial fitness equipment lives or dies on the details. A weld that looks fine can fail under load. A coating that passes a basic test can corrode in a humid gym. A frame that measures correctly can still flex where it shouldn't. Manufacturing parts for demanding clients forced us to build systems, not just skills. We learned to document every step, control every variable, and verify every output. That discipline became the foundation of everything that followed.
2018
Entering Cardio — The CT7 and CT8
In 2018, we invested in a dedicated production line for commercial treadmills. This was a major step: cardio equipment demands different engineering, different components, and different quality standards than strength machines. We released two models — the CT7 and CT8 — into the market. Building commercial treadmills taught us new disciplines: motor and control system integration, running deck and belt durability, noise and vibration control, and the electronics that make a treadmill reliable day after day in a busy gym. The CT7 and CT8 gave us something important: a complete product capability that spanned both strength and cardio. We were no longer just a parts workshop. We were a fitness equipment manufacturer.
2023
IRONPOWER Goes Global
For years, we manufactured behind the scenes — for other brands, for other companies' products. In 2023, we made a decision: we would face the world under our own name. IRONPOWER FITNESS was launched as a new brand with a clear mission: to help global B2B distributors and fitness brands build their own product lines through OEM and ODM services. We chose to focus on B2B because it's where our strengths matter most. Our clients don't just need a supplier who can hit a price. They need a manufacturing partner who understands commercial-grade quality, can execute complex specifications, and can help them differentiate in their own markets.
