Why choose a Safety Squat Bar over a straight bar?
A standard barbell forces your shoulders into external rotation and can punish your wrists and elbows. The SBAR6007 changes everything. The cambered design shifts the center of gravity forward, so you stay upright. Your hands grip the knurled handles in a neutral position in front of your chest – no more wrenching your shoulders back. This makes high-bar squats, front squats, and even overhead squats accessible again.

The removable handle system is a standout feature. Remove the handles and you can perform Hatfield squats (holding the rack for support), use the bar for bent-over rows, or attach custom handles (coming soon). The handles themselves are fully knurled with a firm, aggressive grip that won’t slip, even under heavy loads.

Built for heavy lifting. At 68 lbs empty, the SBAR6007 has a substantial feel. With a 1,500 lb static rating, it will handle anything you can throw at it. The 49.1″ camber spacing means it fits on wide racks like Rogue, Rep, Titan, and most commercial units without issue.

• Compatible with all standard 2″ Olympic plates and locking collars.
